New Online Portal for New and Renewal Business Licenses


The City of Cañon City has implemented a new Business Licensing program that allows you to renew your license online, paying with either a check or credit card. This program also creates the permits that are given to licensees.

Options for renewal or new licensing:

  1. ONLINE: Complete the application and pay online (with a fee). CLICK HERE
  1. IN PERSON: Complete the application form (choose the one applicable to your business below) and return it to the City with cash or check.

With either option, you will have until March 1,  2025, to renew your license. After March 1, 2025, there will be a $25 penalty administered.
