Police Department
The police department is located at 161 Justice Center Road, Cañon City, CO 81212.
The police department is staffed 24 hours a day 7-days a week, however, the reception/records window is only open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Friday by appointment preferred. To make an appointment call 719.276.5600 and choose option 1 or email records@canoncity.org. There is a phone located on the wall to the right when you enter the first door to the department for after-hours requests for assistance.

Incident and case reports can be obtained in person at the police department, 161 Justice Center Road, Cañon City, CO 81212. Print out and complete the Police Report Request Form (PDF). Incident and Case reports can also be requested online at https://canoncityco.nextrequest.com.

Come into the police department and pick up the phone located in the lobby which connects you directly to dispatch. Dispatch can then take your information and have an officer meet with you. You may also call us directly on our non-emergency line at 719.276.5600 to have an officer meet with you at your location within the city limits. - Black/white: $0.25 per page plus sales tax
- Color: $1 per page plus sales tax
- CD/DVD: $5
